Take Me Home....

Anyone ever get homesick? I know most students who go to Weber State are from Utah but this is for those who are from out of state. I constantly find myself thinking about home. I picture myself back on the beach or out in the desert riding with my family. Its like a whole other world out here. The lifestyle is different.
I am from California, born and raised. I miss everything about the place. I can even say I miss the 5 o'clock traffic. I miss going to the beach and just laying up for the day. Taking in the sun and enjoying the company. I miss the bonfires on the beach after a long day and just digging my feet in the sand as the sun sets. My heart belongs to California. Its a different world. Its like I can just press pause on life out there and kick back.
Another thing that brings me back is thinking about high school football. I know a lot of people cant really relate to this but for my other football players who read this, you can relate. I miss the friday night lights. I miss dressing up on friday and having the school see us and just know who we are. I know I play at a higher level know but its a whole different experience. Playing with your friends on a friday night, win or lose, you have fun. You grow life long friendships. Sometimes you even gain a brother or two.
I will always live in California. I love the place. You cant go wrong with a place that has beautiful beaches, amazing weather, incredible food, and hell, we have the govanator! =] Its my paradise. Its where I can,"Just relax, lay back and be easy."-Radical Something
